Slow and Thoughtful

Fashion is in dire need of a new consciousness. At Broadlands Co. every piece created is rooted in a circular approach— handmade from sustainably sourced textiles and reclaimed materials, produced in small batches, and artfully crafted, in order to reduce waste and keep you loving your most valued garments.
Made slow with intention, we design, pattern, fit, and sew each piece with care—crafting garments that are beautiful, unique, and built to last. Our commitment to sustainability is the guiding light in everything we do, creating well made garments designed to be loved, lived in and not left behind.

The Most Sustainable Garment Is the One We Love and Care For

Alice and Albert Chevrefils, my grandparents, were humble and hardworking farmers who left a legacy of love, faith, and appreciation for each new day. They were incredible lifelong stewards of their belongings, tending, mending, building with their hands and making do. They centered their lives around the meaning in it; family, faith, hardwork and a good old fashion Canadian sense of humor. Their legacy lives on through Broadlands Co. in our mission to create thoughtful and enduring garments that facilitate the full and present participation in our lives.

Garments Made to Last

With a background in technical design, and passion for textile art, we focus on the details that matter. Our approach combines careful garment engineering while viewing each piece as a blank canvas for something beautiful. We integrate techniques like quilting, natural dyeing, and embroidery to bring unique character to each piece, while focusing on the fit and construction that ensure lasting quality. Every stitch reflects our dedication to craftsmanship you can feel, creating garments that are as durable as they are artful—made to be worn, loved, and passed on.
