Alex Quilt Coat - Patchwork - Medium - *Please Read Full Description*

This quilted coat, crafted from a reclaimed scrap quilt, carries the warmth and charm of its well-loved past.

Clean finished on the inside, it features large front pockets, reclaimed natural toned buttons, and a hanger loop. Fit is slightly boxy and relaxed with a slight drop shoulder.

This coat came from a truly loved and used cutter quilt, that had many holes and stains. It was made very scrapy, with blankets for batting (insulation). As such this coat is generally lightweight, but varies in thickness. Please be aware the wearer's right arm has several more layers of batting than the left, and there is hole that was patched in the upper back.

Each quilt coat is uniquely made, and features various elements from found materials inclusive of trims. Reclaimed textiles sometimes feature marks, spots, mends and stains. After textiles are carefully laundered and inspected, any imperfection that have found their way into a finished garment have been thoughtfully considered to add character, story and uniqueness to the garment.
